Community Gifts at the Red Tent Women's Circle!

Thank you to the amazing ladies that joined us for our Red Tent Women's Circle tonight! After talking about why our culture is so weird about periods, we had some great discussions and made our own cycle tracking bracelets. Our youths decorated the altar and also helped fill period kits to deliver to Turning Point Domestic Violence Shelter. Thank you to the wonderful, caring people that dropped off products or donated funds. We had so many tampons and pads that we ran out of makeup bags to put them in! The 30 kits and the remaining products were delivered to Turning Point shelter. We hope to make more period kits in the future to deliver to middle school and high school nurses offices.
