At the Autumn Coven Meeting, many people shared that they would like to see more laid back opportunities to socialize with each other outside of holiday gatherings. We listened, and are happy to announce a new project that will help people spend time with friends, visit new places, and support local businesses that go above and beyond to support the Pagan community! Beginning in December 2023, Tree of Knowledge will be organizing monthly "Coven Field Trips" in different cities to visit spiritual stores, get to know each other over lunch, and participate in a variety of activities. This is a great way to get people out of the house and find support in the community while also introducing new customers to stores that they otherwise wouldn't have known about (or had a means to visit). These events will be open to everyone, and we will also be organizing carpool volunteers for those with limited transportation. Our first Coven Field Trip will be in Bloomington! We will be visiting The Burnished Raven on December 30th to join their monthly Pagan Meetup. Not only does this business create events for local Pagans and assist local charities, but The Burnished Raven had also offered to donate 20% of group sales on Saturday, December 30th to Tree of Knowledge to help fund future events! All you need to do is let the cashier know that you are with Tree of Knowledge at the time of check out.
