☀️ Happy Summer Solstice!🌻

Thank you to everyone that came out to celebrate with us. We had a whopping 14 kids throughout the day, and a few new friends joining us for the first time. We had a great time, and enjoyed spending the day with so many amazing members of our coven. For those who couldn't make it in person, here is a peek at what happened.

🌻 We led the kids and adults in fun games and activities.

🌻 The kids painted their own bookshelf for the coven library

🌻 We introduced a "quiet corner" for kids and adults that need a break from the happy chaos. This space had comfy cushions, sensory toys, coloring activities, and less foot traffic. We will definitely do this again in the future!

🌻 The kids enjoyed a drum circle, and lead a parade to give the space a blessing with their instrument of choice

🌻 Many kids and a few adults decorated postcards to send to our friends who couldn't join us in person today

🌻 A couple of the preteens asked when the ritual would be. We explained that we didn't plan on having a ritual at this gathering because it was organized with kids in mind. It turns out the preteens really enjoy the rituals, and decided to create a lead a group ritual on their own! Well done to you both!

🌻 In between all of the activities, our youngins played with variety of water toys, played on the playground, and ate themselves silly. We all had a great time, and it is all thanks to our amazing volunteers. Thank you so much to the following people:

Sara Hopkins for assisting with the kids. You're a tough trooper, and they had a blast chasing you with squirtguns!

💛 Melissa McAdams for cooking everything over the fireplace and feeding everyone. The campfire chocolate cake was an amazing idea!

💛 Erika for stepping in as a security and medical volunteer, and joining us early for security training

💛 Conner and Kim for bringing the Summer Newsletters and free plants!

💛 Kris Harding for bringing a ton of great side dishes and volunteering as a medic

💛 Rebekah McCartyand Michael for the potatoes that were a HUGE hit.
